KickHigher Martial Arts  is a Korean Martial Art School that provides instructions for children as early as 4 years old and adults of all ages.

Our individualized instruction helps each individual achieve their goals, increase in flexibility and provides required amount of exercise to lead a healthy life.

There are many benefits for joining Martial Arts such as: healthier heart, exercise, self-defense, better focus and listening skills, conflict resolution and this leads to better performance through a sense of responsibility.  Korean Martial Arts promotes healthy way of life and physical development.

We know the impact a good teacher can have on a student. Our instructors are patient and enthusiastic, and teach with a perfect blend of discipline and fun.  With our low student-teacher ratio, every student receives personal attention. Our instructors are dedicated to helping all students achieve their best.  You will learn through a variety of different techniques including fun games, some sports activity and exercise.  Martial Arts trains not only our bodies but our mind as well.  By learning the forms and doing them on our own, we train our memory and learn how to breath while performing a high level of activity.

Do martial arts increase aggressiveness?

Absolutely not. Your child will be taught from the first lesson that true "Taekwondo kids" never misuse their martial arts skills. Throughout their training, they will be reminded that being physically and mentally tough does not allow one to be tough with others. Instead, Taekwondo students are expected to be humble, courteous, respectful and careful about when and where they practice their skills.

How are we different?

  • Programs such as Tricking and Judo are introduced to students with additional interest in Marital Arts.
  • Flexible contracts are available based on the individual needs.
  • Clean, spacious and safe environment.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Classes incorporate gymnastics to improve flexibility and accuracy of the kicks.

How is progress measured?

Progress is often marked by the belt system, which takes the beginner from a white belt through a variety of colors until black. Testing for each new level, generally every 6-7 weeks, is a good exercise in setting and achieving goals.
